Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Fashion: Pageantry On The Thames River! Kate Middleton In Alexander McQueen!

The Royals took to the River Thames in London today (June 3, 2012) for a pageant like no other. The show on the Thames feature more than 1000 boats including the Royal Barge where all the senior members of the House of Windsor were in attendance.

For her first Jubilee of any sorts the Duchess Cambridge Kate Middleton wore a bright red Alexander McQueen skirt-suit with matching red Sylvia Fletcher hat reminiscent to the one she wore in Canada for the tour of Canada. According to the Daily Mail, Kate wore a maritime-themed brooch featuring two silver dolphins. It is a gift from the Royal Navy Submarine Service of which Prince William is Commodore in Chief.

Prince William donned a Royal Navy Flight Lieutenant Uniform with blue garter sash. While Prince Harry wore the Blues and Royals Army Air Corps light blue beret Uniform.

This  is another nod to the House of McQueen at a major State occasion. The other, her wedding dress.

Kate wore nude pumps and a matching red clutch.

The Queen wore a Angela Kelly dress and coat made of white boucle thread, silk ribbon and decorated with crystals.
