Cindy Crawford will be turning 50 this month, and still looks fabulous as ever.
Just recently, the 90s top fashion icon graced Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2016 campaign alongside fellow supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell. But this just might be one of her last campaigns as she said she may stop modelling now that she’s turning 50.
In an interview with United Airline’s Rhapsody magazine she said that her new book, Becoming Cindy Crawford is a farewell letter to the industry.
“Or maybe not goodbye, but move on,” she said.
“I feel like I’m allowing that to have been great, and I’m celebrating it. And I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that’s OK. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”
And what a legacy she will leave behind.
