This year’s Berlin Film Festival is set to give tributes to legendary British actor Alan Rickman and rock icon David Bowie.
Festival Director Dieter Kösslick provided the details of the programme.
The film festival will screen Ang Lee’s Sense and Sensibility where Alan Rickman the supporting role of Coloel Brandon, and the 1976 Nicolas Roeg film The Man Who Fell to Earth starring David Bowie.
Other events include the world premiere of Terence Davies’ A Quiet Passion and an opening gala presentation of the Coen brothers’ Hail Caesar!
The Berlin Film Festival will run from February 11 til 21.
